Met-Track

We are very happy with the Met-Track Fall Arrest system – it’s quite possibly the best system suited to our needs and budget. Peter and the team are knowledgeable and easy to work with. Highly recommend them!

The Met-Track® steel track design is one of high strength and low weight by combining the running track profile with standoff reinforcement to considerably increase span distances. The ‘V’ shaped profile of the running track ensures alignment of the trolleys and end truck but also prevents dirt accumulation inside the tracks.

Machined wheels with crowned tread and precision sealed bearings ensure absolute minimum rolling resistance, providing long operational life.

The Met-Track® pre-engineered modular design allows for easy relocation and/or expansion by simply adding runway sections and/or additional bridges. Splice joints connect the track sections and are complete with vertical and horizontal adjustment screws, facilitating precise alignment of the track sections. Floor mounted cranes can be installed on any normal 6-inch (150mm) reinforced concrete floor. For ceiling mounted cranes it is imperative that you seek professional advice on whether your building structure is capable of withstanding the forces generated by the workstation crane. See Met-Track Brosure for more information:

  • Efficient Material Handling: Our workstation cranes facilitate quick and easy movement of materials, significantly reducing the time needed for handling tasks. It takes only about 1% of the total load weight to move the crane.
  • Improved Workflow: They enable smoother and more organized workflows, as materials can be transported directly to where they are needed without delays.
  • Reduced Risk of Injury: By automating the lifting and moving of heavy loads, our workstation cranes minimize the risk of workplace injuries associated with manual material handling.
  • Ergonomic Benefits: They help in reducing physical strain on workers, leading to fewer musculoskeletal disorders.
  • Lower Labor Costs: The efficiency of our workstation cranes can reduce the need for manual labor, thereby lowering labor costs.
  • Reduced Damage to Goods: Controlled lifting and movement reduce the risk of damage to materials and products, saving money on replacements and repairs.
  • Greater Cost Efficiency Compared to Other Workstation Lifting Solutions: Workstation cranes are cheaper than larger cranes and just as effective for smaller-scale or more localized lifting tasks. Their installation and maintenance costs tend to be lower as well.
  • Long-Lasting Metal Wheels: All our workstation cranes use metal wheels compared to plastic or rubber, which are cheaper initially but wear out much faster.
  • Adaptable Designs: Met Track workstation cranes come in various configurations (e.g., bridge cranes, jib cranes, monorail systems) to suit different workspaces and specific tasks.
  • Fully Customizable: They can be tailored to meet specific operational requirements, including load capacity, reach, and lifting speed. We can also build workstation cranes with your company’s color or other branding elements.
  • Simple Installation: Our workstation cranes are designed for easy installation and integration into existing facilities without significant modifications.
  • Low Maintenance: They are built with durable materials and mechanical systems that require minimal maintenance. By using powder coating rather than enamel paint, we can create workstation cranes that will look pristine for a long time without chipping.
  • Optimized Use of Space: Workstation cranes can be designed to operate within tight spaces, making them ideal for facilities with limited floor space.
  • Improved Organization: They help in keeping the workspace organized by facilitating the systematic movement of materials.
  • Accurate Positioning: Workstation cranes offer precise control over the movement of materials, ensuring accurate positioning and alignment.
  • Smooth Operation: Our workstation cranes are equipped with advanced control systems that provide smooth and steady movement.
  • Expandable Systems: Workstation crane systems feature a modular design that can be expanded or modified as the needs of the operation grow or change.
  • Integration with Other Equipment: They can be integrated with other handling and automation systems for comprehensive material handling solutions.
  • Energy Efficiency: Met-Track workstation cranes are designed to be ergonomically efficient, reducing the overall energy consumption of material handling operations.
  • Reduced Environmental Impact: By improving efficiency and reducing waste, workstation cranes contribute to more sustainable industrial practices.
